Donate to Empower Southern Black Girls

My name is Emani Henry and I am a proud member and Youth Ambassador for the Southern Black Girls and Women's Consortium (SBGWC). As a Youth Ambassador for the SBGWC, we provide leadership for young black girls to better their communities and themselves.

Being a young, Black female, I know there are obstacles that I need to overcome and disparities that I will see. I am striving to be a strong, independent Black female and the Youth Ambassador program at SBGWC affords me with the tools needed to achieve this. In order to further helping the young black girls in communities all throughout the south, we need help from people all over to come together.
